All Shall Be Well

$900.00

When the shadows seem to linger, the light is on the horizon.  The awareness of Christ in us brings comfort and the mystery that we are one means we can rest our weary head on His chest.  The title of this piece is inspired by Julian of Norwich, the 14th century mystic who, in a deep sickness, encounters Jesus and He tells her, “all shall be well, all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.”

We can enter into the space of believing that even in suffering, that in Christ, ultimately all shall be well.  In this life, the comfort and rest is in the here and now knowing He is the place we find rest for our souls.

In the rest, we notice the light on the horizon of our heart, growing and overcoming

the shadows.

In union with Christ He is the light that illuminates us.

“The people living in darkness have seen a great light;
on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.” Matthew 4:16
