“If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I’m trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.”

My favorite month of the year in Illinois is September. The wildflowers behind my house are on full display and the contrast in color begins to feed my soul. I really could stare all day if possible..lol.
I love how the Message says to steep our life in God reality. God’s reality is one of dominion and victory. If we have ever lived in a time where darkness is being exposed and light coming in it is now. May we be ever waking up to God reality, and immerse ourselves in the heavenly realm of His plans for us, His provision and how to relax into our authority and position in the kingdom.
